QUALITY CARE OBJECTIVES
A series of Themes both cut across and underpin the Aims and Objectives that we have adopted in relation to the Rights of our Residents, and Quality of Care.
Focus on Service Users (Our Residents)
We ensure that everything that we do in the Home is driven by the needs, abilities, capabilities, ambitions, aspirations and interests of all our Residents, and not what staff, the management or any other group would desire.
We recognise how easily this focus can slip, therefore we remain vigilant at all times to ensure that the facilities, resources, policies, activities, and series provided in the Home and associated stakeholder services remain Resident-led and Resident-focussed at all times.
Fitness for Purpose
We are fully committed to achieving our stated Aims and Objectives, and welcome the scrutiny of our Residents and their representatives (families, friends and advocates) by completing Quality Assurance Feedback.
We provide a total range of care, in collaboration with all appropriate stakeholder agencies, to meet the overall personal, health and well-being, and personal preferences of all our Residents.
Meeting Assessed Needs
The care that we provide is based on the thorough Assessment Needs and the Systematic and Continuous Planning of Care for each Resident.
We provide and ensure progressive and continuous improvement of the standards in training for all our staff and management, at all levels, to meet the individual care needs of all our Service Users / Residents taking full account of age, disability, ability, capability, intellectual, artistic, emotional, social, ethnic, religious, spiritual, ethnic and cultural diversity and interests.
